about the Koi Dome

The koi dome is made in 2 pieces, the Clear Acrylic Dome and the Floatation Ring.

The dome is manufactured from High Quality Aerospace technology clear PMMA Acrylic, which is 10mm thick, ensuring perfectly clear viewing at all times and is UVA resistant.

The Floatation Ring’s buoyancy has been carefully calculated to allow the koi dome to rise out of the water, almost as though it’s simply floating like a Bubble on the surface of your pond.

koi dome has been consciously manufactured with your Koi’s safety in mind; Manufactured from High Technology soft yet Ultra strong foam, so your Koi cannot damage themselves.

Feeding of the fish: this done by use of the net, the required amount of floating food in placed in the feeding net, the net is then lowered into the water and quickly inverted, to trap the floating food in the top of the net, the net is then pushed under the edge of the Floatation ring and turned through 180 degrees, to release the food into the dome the food will rise into the top of the koi dome.

The first time the fish are fed in the koi dome it may take a while for them to realise the food is in there, but they will start to search for it, once they have eaten from the koi dome a few times, they will start to swim into the dome looking for food as part of their natural behaviour pattern, you will be amazed by the beauty of your fish, when seen from a totally new dimension.
